Well well well folks - it’s absolutely been a SARATOGA SUMMER out here this year, and we’re just so glad to have had you for the whole ride! Ready now for that same energy here in September, everyone here at the Winery is PUMPED to welcome Peter Hook & The Light on Tuesday, September 22nd, 2026 for one of the most important alternative-rock tours hitting the States this year - hands down. This run sees Hooky and his powerhouse band taking Get Ready - the New Order’s beloved 2001 album might we add - on the road in full, album front to back, before diving into a second set packed with the Joy Division and New Order classics that shaped our whole generation’s generation. The tour is a celebration of legacy, rebirth, and one of the most influential catalogs in modern music history - and that’s why we need you right here for when the madness goes down. 

Peter Hook & The Light rarely need an introduction. Hook is not just “a bassist”: he invented a style like none other. That melodic, high-neck, chorus-drenched bass sound that made the bands Joy Division and New Order into a cultural phenomena. His fingerprints are everywhere: Unknown Pleasures, Closer, Movement, Power, Corruption & Lies, Substance, and every era that followed. And since forming The Light in 2010 (with his son Jack Bates on bass duties), Hook has been reclaiming and re-presenting the songs he helped build with full-album shows, deep cuts, and fan-favorite epics that modern New Order rarely touches. And a once in a lifetime moment here in Saratoga on the mountains for all of us, too!

To see Get Ready done live is a rare treat, all the way through - so we should absolutely count ourselves lucky. This is the record that marked New Order’s comeback in the early 2000s — big guitars, dance-rock energy, anthems like “Crystal,” “60 Miles an Hour,” “Someone Like You,” and “Vicious Streak,” all brought to the light with that Hook bassline and DELIVERS, has form, and feels like the start of every indie rock montage coming to light that The Light have become known for. And of course, where better than Mountain Winery, tucked into the hills with panoramic vineyard views and that intimate, open-air magic?
