This 30-date trek coincides with the release of their 45th-anniversary album, UB45, out everywhere this April. Double NME Award winners for Best New British Act and Best Reggae Act, these English artists just received the highly respected PRS Heritage Award for their impact on the UK music scene. And they’re not alone! UB40 is performing LIVE at the Mountain Winery on Thursday, July 25th, at 8:00 PM, featuring special guest performer Maxi Priest. The pop-reggae sensations will set sail from New York City on July 2nd, bringing their 45th anniversary Red Red Wine Tour to Boston, Niagara Falls, Tacoma, and Santa Fe before culminating this first leg with Florida shows in early August. Throughout the tour, select shows will also feature The English Beat and Inner Circle as opening acts.
Birmingham’s greatest reggae artists are reuniting for this special night, and this might be your only opportunity to meet five founding members of the 100-million-selling UB40! Robin Campbell, Brian Travers, Jimmy Brown, Earl Falconer, and Norman Hassan will all be present on this tour, joined by original lead vocalist Duncan Campbell.
